Sea Robins are everywhere off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard. They always bring delight to young and old.
Martha's Vineyard Fishing
Big Eye Tuna
Striped Bass and Bluefish
This is a 29 pound striped bass caught off Martha’s Vineyard eating a 7 pound bluefish. Some of the best fishing on the east coast is out of Edgartown Harbor. The south beach section of Katama offers great shore fishing as well. June is one of the best times of year to fish Edgartown, Gay Head, Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven from the shore or the boat.
Martha’s Vineyard Derby
Another great day of fishing on Martha’s Vineyard. These 12 pound bluefish were enough to get a daily prize but you need over 14 pounds to be a leader overall. Edgartown has been putting up the big bluefish and up island has been coming in with the big bass. It seems the fish are all a little small this year no matter were they were caught. A vacation home on Martha’s Vineyard allows you to do this everyday. It makes no difference Oak Bluffs, Tisbury, Chilmark, Katama, Aquinnah, West Tisbury, Edgartown, Gay Head, all of Martha’s Vineyard Vacation homes allow you this opportunity.

Notice James E Joyce had the largest bluefish for the day but because you are only allowed to win first place once you then get second place. Now James Joyce can only win third and fourth because you can only win once for each place. If you win them all you get a hat trick and an extra pin.
Keep fishing you all.

Martha’s Vineyard Derby Time
Here is Martha’s Vineyard’s number one real estate broker holding his first place finish Bluefish. Weighing in at 12.64 pounds it is a real beauty from the waters off Martha’s Vineyard. She was caught near Wasque Point on Chappaquiddick not far from Muskeget Channel. Cape Poge has been a great place for Bonito and Albacore fishing as well. There are rental properties in Edgartown that allow you to find fish like this only minutes from your door. The fall classic Bluefish derby is half over so still plenty of time to get your own. Lobsterville beach is one of the best for shore fishing and we have rental properties for you in Aquinnah right on the beach.
This is a Vacation
As you can see the fishing is still a home run on Martha’s Vineyard and the Vineyard sound still has plenty of big bass. Jack Breen and his two sons John and Chris are showing off the catch of the day that was landed on the Salty Dog with captain James Joyce.
Martha’s Vineyard Angler
Another great day to be on Martha’s Vineyard in the summer. The real estate on the water is as good as the real estate on the land. See what the water off Chappaquiddick and east beach produced today. Adam and James Joyce could not be happier with the catch of the day. A 38 inch 19 pound striper and a perfect eating size bluefish. They are standing on the dock in Edgartown with the new Atlantic Restaurant in the background.
Striper Fishing
Last weekend was another epic time on the water with the bass jumping every where.
