The past week vacation homes on Martha’s Vineyard have been dark and stormy. Edgartown had very high tides that went up into the parking lot by the Edgartown Yacht Club. This flag was flying on the Salty Dog which is a 22 foot Boston Whaler boat that was tied up at an Edgartown dock. Katama real estate saw its share of rain and the surf at South Beach was up into the dunes. I did not make it to Chilmark, West Tisbury, Aquinnah, Oak Bluffs or Tisbury but I am sure the vacation homes there were dark and stormy as well.
