This is a sad day for Martha’s Vineyard and Massachusetts as Teddy brought alot of work to us here over the last 50 years. Edgartown real estate and Chappaquiddick real estate was changed for ever on July 18, 1969 when he drove a car off a bridge on Chappy.
While Kennedy managed to escape, his passenger, Mary Jo Kopechne, drowned. This was the very start of the world finding out how great Martha’s Vineyard vacations can be. Although not that great in the back of a car being driven by Teddy.
For better or worse Teddy help put Edgartown on the world map and made vacation homes on Martha’s Vineyard the thing to do.
Since then we have had presidential visits to Chilmark, Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, Tisbury, West Tisbury, Aquinnah.
Homes for sale on Martha’s Vineyard have increased in value 30 times since 1969. Call us to see what your home is worth.
